Temporary traffic management plans & assessments

Plan the roadworks. Keep people and access in view.

Road construction, maintenance and utility works all change how people use a road. We help contractors and project teams prepare work-zone traffic management plans, diversion drawings and construction-stage arrangements. Our civil engineering team combines New Zealand roading qualifications and traffic-management expertise with a site-specific approach to Indian projects. Tell us about the work, your programme and the problem you need to solve.

  • Prepare work-zone drawings, temporary sign and device schedules, and work-method notes.
  • Consider pedestrians, property access, local businesses and emergency movements.
  • Scope traffic counts and movement assessments, then coordinate review comments and revisions.

Questions, answered

Questions about this service.

Can you support a project outside India?

Remote planning and documentation support can be scoped internationally. Local data, applicable standards, technical review and approval responsibilities remain project-specific.

Do you collect traffic counts?

Road-user counts and survey planning can form part of the scope. Location, periods, collection arrangements and required outputs are agreed first.

Can you prepare plans for Indian highway projects?

We can scope work-zone plans, traffic diversions and staging drawings for Indian highway projects. We first confirm the project requirements, site information, suitable technical checking and the review route with your project team.

Which guidance applies to Indian projects?

We confirm applicable IRC guidance, MoRTH specifications and the project requirements before planning. References can include IRC:SP:55 for work zones, IRC:67 for signs and IRC:35 for markings. New Zealand training informs our approach; the Indian project requirements govern the plan.

How does review and approval work?

We agree who prepares and checks the plan, how reviewer comments are addressed and which permissions the project needs. The appointed project team and relevant authorities complete the required approvals before implementation.
