Motion Worlds · six experiments, four live

A living laboratory for motion, sound, interaction and performance.

Motion Worlds are authored digital experiments: the place GA practises craft in public. Each world explores one idea about motion, sound, interaction or performance, built to the same standard as client work: restrained, performant, accessible and honest about its state. Four are live; two are held from production until they earn release. Choose by mood, by input, or by the technical idea you want to inspect.

Four worlds live, two held. Held work is labelled here, not hidden, and excluded from the sitemap until approved.

The four live worlds

Every world states its input, its method and its accessibility alternative in the collection map below.

  • Generative poster: a luminous crystalline snowflake on near-black. Live · pointer

    Arctic Snowflake

Quiet. Deterministic crystalline growth under your influence: one rule, a visible seed, forms that never repeat exactly. Input: pointer. Idea: generative order.

  • Generative poster: spectral particles tracing long-exposure trajectories through deep space. Live · pointer + optional sound

    Colorful Particle Journey

Participatory. Hundreds of independent signals gather into a navigable collective without losing their own colour. Input: pointer. Optional ambient sound.

  • Generative poster: an equaliser imagined as glowing architectural blocks. Live · sound on request

    Sound Wall

Architectural. Sound, synthesised only when you allow it, leaves a temporary structure you can watch rise and settle. A silent simulated mode works too.

  • Generative poster: a sparse starfield bent toward a dark attractor. Live · pointer + keyboard

    Singularity

Contemplative. Attention bends a sparse field; proximity changes what can be seen. Input: pointer, autonomous drift, or arrow keys.

In development

Held from production

These two are shown so the collection is honest about its pipeline. They carry no canvas and no links because there is nothing to inspect yet.

  • In development

    Orbital Field

Stable systems are maintained through relationships, not fixed positions. Premise and technical plan are published on its holding page.

    Held from production until approved

  • In development

    Liquid Light

Light behaves like a material that remembers touch briefly, then returns to calm. Premise and technical plan are published on its holding page.

    Held from production until approved

Held rows describe plans, not shipped behaviour. They ship when they meet the same standard as the live four.

The thesis

Why a practice keeps a laboratory

Client work is where craft is applied; the laboratory is where it is practised. Each Motion World isolates one hard problem, deterministic state, collective legibility, permission design, progressive enhancement, and solves it in public where anyone can inspect the result, including on a mid-range phone.

The same disciplines appear in paid work: rendering budgets that respect the device, interaction that never blocks the content, sound only with explicit consent, and state that can be explained. Nothing here tracks you, and nothing here is decoration for its own sake.

From laboratory to capability

The Samples page shows the same craft applied at 200 rising levels of typography, interaction, integration and motion, with the trade-offs stated at every level.

Prefer words to canvases? Every world page carries its premise and method as plain text.
